Meet Dr. Mitchell J. Farr

Dr. Farr is a native of South Florida and has been in private practice since 1987. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science at the University of Miami with double majors in chemistry and mathematics. Dr. Farr earned his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, completing dual specialty training programs in Prosthodontics and Periodontics, with special focus on the placement and restoration of dental implants.

Dr. Farr believes that continuing education is essential to his practice and attends many conferences a year to ensure that he remains on the cutting edge of technology and dental, prosthetic, and periodontal procedures, as well as at the forefront of patient comfort and care. Meet Dr. Arnold Sheir

Arnold Sheir, D.D.S. grew up in South West Miami Dade, attended the University of Miami, and graduated with honors from Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia.

He opened his practice in the area of North Miami Beach, which was later incorporated as the city of Aventura. Dr. Sheir has been involved in the community since beginning his practice, and has worked with the Kiwanis Club of North Miami Beach as well as the North Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the board of the North Dade Dental Society and is the area liaison to the Florida State Board of Dentistry as well as the board of the School of Dental Hygiene at Miami Dade Community College.

Meet Dr. Reinaldo Horta

Reinaldo Horta, D.M.D. is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Horta graduated from the International School of Dental Ceramics in Coral Gables, Florida. His knowledge of dental technology is a tremendous asset to our patients and to our practice. Dr. Horta serves in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, where he has achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Dr. Horta gives back to our community through volunteer service with the Dade County Dental Research Clinic's Community Smiles Program.

Meet Dr. Katie Rand

Katie Rand, D.D.S. grew up in Palm Beach County, Florida, where she graduated with honors from Jupiter High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Chemistry from the University of Miami. During her college career, Dr. Rand received a number of academic awards. Dr. Rand pursued her career in dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After completing her residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, Dr. Rand joined our practice.
